What does a player get from EpitomePD?
Two personalized, human-reviewed reports: a mindset report scored from a 90-item hockey-calibrated assessment (hockey attitude, psychological performance, anxiety, depression, and overall mindset), and a genetic report covering 22 curated markers relevant to hockey performance — explosive stride, shift recovery, endurance, durability, and strength among them. Both come with a profile archetype and three tailored actions to work on each month.
What does EpitomePD cost?
Every product is a one-time purchase in Canadian dollars — no subscription, no auto-renewal. The behavioral assessment, the genetic test kit, and the discounted bundle of both are listed with current prices on the products page.
How does parental consent work for players under 18?
EpitomePD is for players 14 and up, and athletes under 18 participate only with parental consent. There are two ways: a parent or legal guardian creates and manages the account (they purchase, consent, and see all results), or the athlete holds their own account and their results unlock once a parent or guardian consents through an emailed link.
How long until results arrive?
The behavioral assessment takes about 35 minutes and your scored PDF report lands in your dashboard immediately on submission. The genetic report is lab-processed and human-reviewed, and typically arrives 14–21 days after the lab receives your returned cheek-swab sample.
Is my child’s data private?
Personal, assessment, and genetic data are never sold, and we will not disclose individual results to any insurer, employer, or athletic organisation — including the player’s own team — without specific written consent, except where required by law. You can request access to, or deletion of, the account and its data at any time. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
